Itinerary

Meet your wrangler in the Taos Ski Valley Bison Parking Lot at 9:00am for check-in: paperwork, a safety talk, and an individual riding instruction before hitting the trail.

Follow the Bull of the Woods Trail as it climbs up alongside the Rio Hondo. Cool pines and shimmering aspens give way to grassy meadows surrounded by 12,000 ft peaks.

This is where we pull out our world class picnic of smoked meat, artisanal cheeses, black bean or quinoa salad, fresh fruit, cookies, etc.

After lunch, mount back up and descend back to the parking lot

What to Wear

Long pants and closed-toe shoes are required. We recommend lightweight longsleeve shirts for sun protection and of course a rain jacket in case the weather turns!

Weather Conditions

Be prepared for changing summer weather conditions, as we ride in the high mountains during monsoon season

Minor E-Waivers

Minors accompanied by an adult that is not a parent/legal guardian MUST have a parent/legal guardian complete the stables' e-waiver prior to the ride.
